| I pretty much failed college. Well, I didn't really, but as I failed 3 units, I only got a Pass/Pass rather than a Merit/Merit. This caused me not to be able to get onto the course that I wanted to do at uni. Slightly ticked off at my own lazyness, I was entered into the foundation year. I met some good friends and tried to make progress so that I could get onto the full course. But, as seen from primary school, secondary school and now college, old habits set in and I failed to do enough to pass the foundation year. I got a refer from the lovely board at Southampton Solent Uni. Fortunatly, they saw fit to give me a second chance, which is where I find myself now. They sent me pretty much 7/8ths of the work that we did on the course for me to do over the period of about a month. I was slightly happy about being given a second chance. I dragged up as much work that I could from the course and set to work copying it out. Then I stopped. Pure lazyness has once again set in. I now have 11 days until the hand in date to do quite literaly half an inch high of work. I should be doing it now, but I can't. I'm probably smart enough to bang it out in a few days if I sat down and did it, but I am quite obviously not the academic type (see all other academic chances to succeed where I failed). I'm going camping with some friends on Sunday until Thursday. This cuts my working time down to 5 days. I think I may just kill myself and save my parents the hassle of bringing up a failure who, however much he may try, falls flat on his face at any chance he is given to change his ways. | So... I'm planning to eat 60 Cream Eggs in 60 minutes. Kinda foolish but oh well. Not sure if I'll stream it live, or record it and upload it somwhere. Also, it's going to cost me like £20 to do, but I don't mind, I get chocolate! Watch this space for info! 17 comments... |

| Wow! Today it snowed! Managed to get around 6 inches of snow near me. Trains were cancelled ofcourse so I couldn't get to uni, no loss there =P. Was going to make a snowman, but stayed in the warm inside instead. Snowed constantly from the evening yesterday till about 7pm today! First proper snow in ages. 1 comments... |
